Perhaps the most important moments spent in your practice are during the complete examination. It is at this time that your practice will be able to communicate to your patient the optimal treatment plans. In this time of economic uncertainty, it is more important than ever to communicate your patients’ dental needs and get a ‘yes’ to treatment delivery and completion. Through the technological advances in digital photography, computer diagnostics, and the utilization of mounted diagnostic casts, the dental assistant will learn their vital role in this complete care level one track.

- How to properly schedule new and existing patients, and how to orchestrate appointments so that you can gather the esthetic, occlusal, biological, and additional clinical information.
- How to use digital photography for co-diagnosis, and practice growth
- Hands-on Intraoral Photography Workshop
- How to ask the proper questions at the new and existing patient examination, so that you will connect with the wants and needs of the patient
- Case presentation- how to turn the wants and needs of your patient into actual treatment dollars
- Clinical update- what’s new and what works well
- Diagnostic composite mock-ups
- Facebow transfer, and when the laboratory requires a facebow
- Proper record keeping- maintaining accurate treatment records
Team building- working together efficiently and productively. Ms. Shannon Pace will capture, in a live demonstration, how to do your complete examination efficiently and immediately for all your patients’ needs and your practice growth!
Ms. Shannon Pace is a member on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a clinical instructor at the Dawson Academy, and lectures nationally and internationally.
